Coconut oil contains a very special kind of saturated fat — it has medium chain fatty acids. Lauric acid is one of them. The body uses these oils quickly, so they do not get stored in the body as fat.

Arnica is a great healing agent for things like sore muscles, swelling, and even bruising. The gel can go right on bruised skin, whether it is a standard bruise or a black eye. It works great on areas which are swollen as well, not to mention the relief it brings to sore muscles.

Cancer Fighting Super Foods! Blog 2

6237108Now that we have talked about two different foods that fight cancer, let’s touch on some more.  Blueberries are one berry that has a lot of different vitamins inside of it and it is one that definitely fights of all kinds of cancer.  Another food is chili peppers and jalapenos.  While spicy, these peppers are deadly for cancer cells.  Carrots are sweet potatoes are another couple veggies that are cancer-fighting superfoods.

Carrots have a possession of beta carotene, which is a secret weapons to breast cancer, bladder, lung and mouth cancer on top of prostate and stomach – eat a lot of carrots and you should have no problems with cancer!  Cauliflower, cabbage, kale and Brussel sprouts are a few other things that will fight that cancer for you when eaten.

Finally, figs and garlic are two other foods that really and truly will help you fight off cancer – both of which are incredible superfoods!

Cancer Fighting Super Foods! Blog 1

When it comes to fighting off cancer – did you know that there are many different foods that you can use?  If you have cancer already, these foods can help you shrink it down because what these foods do for you is actually create a very unwelcoming home for tumors.  Below, we are going to outline just a few of the foods for you, however – there are many different kinds that you should look into if you are serious about not getting cancer.

Avocados, which are fantastic for dipping also have an uncanny ability to destroy all sorts of viral hepatitis, which is one of the main sources of liver cancer.  You can use avocado to add some flavor to usually bland dishes.  Broccoli is another cancer superfood, it uses indole-2-carinol to lure cancer-causing estrogen into becoming a more productive form of estrogen.  This particular veggie can also fight colon and rectal cancer as well.

Making your own poultice is something of an art.  It takes just a little skill and you really need to know what you are doing.  The main objective of a poultice is going to be avoiding using toxic substance

s, so that is something that you really need to take to heart.  There are many different poultice’s that you can make, it really just depends on what you are going to be using it for.  For example, to make a heat poultice, you will need to use some cornmeal and some rye flour along with some boiling water.

If you are looking to make a poultice for some inflammation that you might be experiencing, you should reduce shaved carrots down to mush in a saucepan and then apply them to some of the sores that are really inflamed and bothering you.  The last poultice is the herb poultice, this is one where you are going to grind the herbs of your choice down to powder and add distilled water.
Poultices are extremely handy, you really just need to think about which one fits into the needs you are using it for.

Use Poultice To Help Relieve Your Pain!

Poultice If there is one thing in the world that I know about, it is going to be pain management.  We all know that dealing with your pain, whether it is in your arms, legs or back is something that is extremely difficult to deal with.  Sure, you can hype yourself up on over the counter or physician prescribed pain pills, but you may want to consider looking into an alternative way to relieve your pain.

Poultice is a fantastic way to relieve your pain and will relieve it naturally and is much healthier for you overall.  One poultice that is extremely helpful in the pain management area is going to be heat poultice.  This is going to be a mixture of natural therapeutic products that will help relieve your pain and will give off heat.

However, there is such thing as a cold poultice as well and that can definitely help you in the long run as well.  There are different types of poultice available and you really just need to find the one that fits you and your pain.  That is what we are going to talk about in the next blog.

yogaYoga is something that is so beautiful, so good for you and something that everyone should be doing – at least three or four times a week.  If you are not familiar with exactly what Yoga can do for you, which is what I am here for!  To remind you of all of the fantastic benefits that doing Yoga can really help you with.  For example, did you know that Yoga can actually help you not to age as quickly and it will actually keep your mind healthier and more youthful too.

Yoga is well-liked by people with breathing difficulties as well for it is very slow-paced and it is all about breathing.  You really can relax when you are doing yoga and that is something that is very attractive to this exercise.  What yoga is actually all about though is controlling your blood pressure and it will assist you with all the pains and aches in your body.

Chakra Balancing: What Is It?

Chakra BalancingFor those of you that have no idea what a Chakra is (believe me, I had to look it up to figure out exactly what they were before I started writing about them!).  Chakras are very important for your overall health and you actually have them from the head all the way to the root of the spine.  There are seven different chakras in your body, they are dubbed: root chakra, sacral chakra, solar plexus chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, brow chakra and crown chakra.

Every chakra that is in your body is an entry gate for air and they are responsible for your mental, spiritual and physical functions.  Balancing your chakras is something that should be done often.  Of you chakras are not balanced, you will feel less energy and you can actually become very faint.  You will also experience a lot more emotional problems as well as sickness.

There are many ways to balance your chakras out, however, you want to make sure that you have a professional do it for you, as you want to be careful with this type of thing.

The Use Of Magnets To Alleviate Pain: How?

Champneys health spaDid you know that Magnets can actually be used to relieve your pain?  Well, I didn’t until I started doing some research for this blog.  I thought that magnets were just magnets and what actually happens is that they work to create a flux field that protects a lot against any calcium or sodium ions.  Basically, the first is going to slow down the healing process and can actually destroy some vital cells in the human body.

With all of the technology out there, magnets now have been proven to relieve pain and honestly, improve the chances of recovering from some of the very serious injuries that some people suffer from.  Most of the time a magnet is actually the very first step when a person is on the road to recovery.

I think that is so cool, magnets are honestly something that I never would have considered as being a pain reliever, but they are! Alternative medicine – i love it!

Cupping: Is It Right For You?

cupping-glass-1For those of you that are not familiar with what this picture represents, it is actually a form of massage called cupping or suction cupping.  There are many different benefits to this creative and unique massage; however, you want to make sure that it is going to be right for you.  Basically, the process of cupping is going to use the power of suction to draw blood to the one area that is experiencing pain.  Whether the pain is in your neck, back, legs or arms, cupping can be used on any part of your body.

Specifically, cupping is used for chronic pain and can be quite beneficial, however, in America, many Americans are still skeptical as of whether or not it really works.  In most cases, this process is not painful at all and is completed in a very short time, however, it looks painful and that is what most people are scared of.

If you are suffering from chronic pain and have tried everything else – what do you have to lose?  You could have a lot to gain from this method though.
